Chef's Roll Versace, A Night At The Mansion


Earlier this week, I, along with 125 lucky invitees, had the pleasure of attending Chefs Roll Versace, A Night At The Mansion. Imagine this: twenty four of the best chef's coming together to share their influences, as well as collaborating to create beautiful dishes at The Villa Casa Casuarina, formally known as the Versace Mansion. The VIP Guest's include: Dominique Crenn (Two Michelin Stars, The World's Best Female Chef 2016), Jeremiah Tower, and Markus Glocker (One Michelin Star. Best New Restaurant 2015). Yeah.. It was definitely a foodie's dream come true. I got to meet some pretty bad ass chef's, and you know I made it a point to stop by each of the 8 stations to try a little bit of everything!








The DJ had the Versace Mansion LIT lol, everyone was breaking it down by the end of the night.



Crispy Heritage Berkshire Pork
Steamed bun, sour cabbage, peaches, sofrito aioli, pork tongue and smoked shoulder empanada, peach mole (both pictured below)




Chef's Erik NielJavier Plascenciaand Slade Rushing
Hudson Valley Foie Gras, Melon, Chilhuacle Chili, Smoked Honey, Amaranth.

Chillled watermelon, charcoal roasted foie gras, chilhuacle gastrique with ice wine vinegar,cherry wood smoked honey and oregon salt and peite amaranth. 


Murder Point Oysters "Al Pastor" with spicy achiote oil, pineapple relish, coriander blooms, and pork cracklings.

Murder Point Oysters topped with nomad farm Lychees and green mango. 
SIMPLY AMAZING!! My favorite station that night.

A Walk Through Chef's Garden
Confit Porcini, Smoked Patagonia Mussel Creme, Fermented Spruce, Hickory Bark, Summer Truffle.

This dish was so beautifully put together. Everything was edible, including the stencil! 


who along with Chef Isaac Toups created the lovely dish below.

Chef's Roll Rice Bowl
Green Tomato Chow Chow, Collard Green Stir Fry, Allen Brothers Tri-Tip, Boiled Peanuts, and Funky Remoulade. 
Loved every bite of this!

Yuzu Choco Taco
Callebaut Chocolate, Latik, Coconut.

Delicious and refreshing. Not to mention, extremely adorable hehe..



Del Pacifico Shrimp and Grits
Florida Corn, Huitlacoche, and Chorizo. 
(Delicious flavor, and the prettiest shrimp and grits I've had)


Satsuma Wagyu Basted in hot Foie Gras drippings, Chanterelle Mushroom, Blueberry, Shaved Foie Gras, over a Brisket Bark Salad.
