Happy Monday Foodies
I was invited to attend SBE's grand finale culinary event; a Farewell Brunch at Diez y Seis. Located inside the Shore Club, Diez y Seis is a Mexican restaurant that delivers a twist on classic cuisine. From an assortment of dessert options to freshly made table-side Guacamole and a live Mariachi band, they sure know how to host a brunch!
I didn't know about Diez y Seis prior to my invitation, and upon arriving I was definitely impressed. As previously mentioned, the restaurant is located inside the Shore Club towards the back of the hotel, with views of the pool which made our brunch experience that much nicer.
I was greeted by a very friendly restaurant manager named Jose, he seated us and made sure everything from the food to our service was on point during our visit. Brunch was served in a buffet style, and when I tell you that I did not know where to start, you can imagine all the options lol. There were 3 different types of fresh ceviche to choose from, an omelette station, meats and cheese's and just about every dessert you could think of.
During our meal, I noticed there was a full service table side margarita cart going around and preparing drinks for the guests, along with a table side guacamole cart which I made sure to take advantage of. Another plus, they had a server going around to the tables offering steak tacos, which I gladly accepted (see picture above). The best part of brunch (besides the amazing food) was the live mariachi band. I kept thinking to myself how great Diez y Seis was and how I would surely come back with my friends for another brunch.
