Tacology

Happy Taco Tuesday foodies!

Being that it's Tuesday, I figured what better day to post up my review from one of Miami's hot eating spots- TacologyI must say, I saw pictures prior to my visit and everything looked good, but I had no idea just how amazing all the food would be. Seriously though, every single thing I ordered was delicious! Located on the 4th floor of the new Brickell City Centre, Tacology offers a variety of authentic and artistic Mexican cuisine. The decor is beautiful, the drinks are strong- I mean, you can't go wrong here. I'm already planning my next visit. There were just too many things I wanted to try and didn't get a chance to!

How stunning is this Guava cheesecake? *drools*

These beautiful lamps hang above the seating / eating area outside

 La Catrina
Mexican style coquito with rum and cinnamon.

Heirlooms and Farro Ceviche
Heirloom tomatoes, red onions, yuzu, avocado, roasted hazelnuts and cilantro.

Quite possibly the largest chicharon (crispy pork skin) you will ever see.

 Elote preparado
Grilled corn topped with queso fresco
Usually served with a side of piquin-mayo, cilantro-mayo, chili ashes-mayo, and jalapeno-mayo.

 Shrimp Tacos
Quinoa covered shrimp, avocado and cilantro- served in a shot glass with agave-chipotle.
The waitress recommended these and I was so glad she did. The quinoa made the shrimp crunchy, flavor was on point, two taco's were not enough! haha

Caramel Flan
Need I say more? Delightful. Plus, they're little baby flans! How cute is this dessert?

And last, but surely not least, my favorite. The Guava Cheesecake
